Bokura Ga Ita aka We Were ThereOther Anime mentioned: Lovely Complex, NANA, Kimi Ni Todoke, Sukitte Ii Na Yo, Peach Girl, Kare KanoWhich anime should you wat. Description: Nanami Takahashi is a high school. It's a very minimalistic school-life-and-love type of thing, and could be watched if you have nothing else to do, but I'd advise anyone to skip it for some worthier undertaking. Ao Haru Ride: A Romantic-Comedy, Slice-of-Life Anime. Bokura ga Ita SUB ITA (Streaming & Download) Anime Azione, Anime Commedia, Anime Dramma, Anime Scuola, Anime Sentimentale, Anime SUB ITA, Serie Anime Concluse Bokura ga Ita - Episodio Bokura ga Ita is an anime from studio ✺rtland Inc.« that falls into the main genre of Romantic Drama. Bokura ga Ita has neither the endless energy of Kodocha and Kuromi-chan, nor the sweet and warm feeling of Furuba. Honestly, this isn't something I expected from Akitaro Daichi. I was infinitely bored even before the half-way point, so that should tell you something. Nanami is a very pretty girl who has an innocent, sweet and cute look with short carrot orange hair that is usually up in different hairstyles (high bun, down, braids, etc), big, beautiful milk chocolate eyes.
ANIME LIKE BOKURA GA ITA SERIES
The character designs are ultra-minimalistic and animation is almost nonexistant, the show relies heavily on static scenes and chibification, but although those in itself shouldn't be a reason to hate it, there is nothing else in there to keep me staying. Nanami Takahashi is the female lead in the series and the love interest of Motoharu Yano. In Bokura Ga Ita, Mohoharu is still mourning the loss of his ex, who passed away in a car accident causing him to be distant from his current girlfriend Nanami. The show disappoints in that aspect as well: everything is colorless, grey-brown and not really inspiring. 3 Motoharu Is Still Hung Up On Ex (Bokura Ga Ita) One way for an individual to kill their relationship is to remain hung up on a past relationship. Honestly, the only thing that caught my attention initially was the promise of a vibrant and fresh color palette on the promotional art (ala AIR, which was equally dull yet beautiful). Hi.im also a fan of Bokura ga ita.ive seen and read the manga up til chpater 61.the next chapter will be released in January 2011,and im looking forward.anyway all ive wanted to say is that you are all wrong.how can you not see how special this manga is and what is Yuuki Obata trying to do.
ANIME LIKE BOKURA GA ITA HOW TO
I am not really sure how to take this series, but color me disappointed and not very impressed.įor a romantic series it is exceedingly dull and not pretty.įor a school comedy it isn't all that funny.įor a slice-of-life story it doesn't feature much "real life" situations.įor the most part, Bokura ga Ita is about Nanami and her relationships with her classmates, which isn't all that exciting. Both Bokura ga Ita and Sukitte Ii na are focusing not really how the main characters get together but the things they face in their relationship which makes their love stronger.

However, Motoharu finds the picture in Nanami's notebook and decides to return it to Yuri. Like Bokura ga Ita, in Sukitte Ii na yo the main characters relationship is formed at the begging of the series.

That is mostly the reason that it stood out from the mass for me, I couldn't for the heck remember most other shoujo manga I've read lately since they all are that similar that any lines betweem them blur.Īnyway, looking (and hoping) for a good adaption here. ( ) Nanami accidentally steals an old picture of Motoharu together with Nana from Yuri's bag, as she does not know what to do about it. That's actually my hope for this anime to retain its style, the director and most of the staff have worked on really good adaptions such as the ones you named, thus it should be possible to make an adaption which doesn't screw up its quite unique style.Īs for the comments about the manga, face it, on an average out of 100 shoujo there will be only 3-4 which offer interesting ideas and stuff while the rest remains overall the same, as of late the only thing which changes is the amount of sexual depiction and fanservice.Īnd this is where Bokura ga Ita actually shines, it doesn't need all that stuff, while it's true that the story and the ideas are as generic as it can get, it has a quite unique style and presentation and the "drama" bits play out nicely. Immediately on her first day however, she becomes the victim of a practical joke by the schools most popular guy, Motoharu Yano, who coincidentally also ends up in her class. Nanami Takahashi is a high school student entering her first year. I also have high hopes for this series mainly because Daichi Akitarou, who directed the Fruits Basket and Kodocha anime, is directing it. Bokura ga ita: With Nozomi Sasaki, Erina Nakayama, Takuji Kawakubo, Hiroshi Yazaki.
